A Day That Brought Everyone Together

Saturday 20 December 2025 was one of those days that highlights what local clubs are all about.

The day began with a three course Christmas lunch at Worthing Rugby Club. It was more than a meal, it was a genuine community occasion. Pippa, Steve, Clare and Andy were invited to join families, local sponsors and supporters from both teams, and the atmosphere felt exactly right. The room was lively, welcoming and filled with people who clearly care about the club and each other.

A Meaningful Recognition for Global OHS

During lunch, we were honoured to receive an award in recognition of Global OHS support. It was unexpected and extremely thoughtful, and it meant a great deal to us, not only as a business, but also as individuals who value the role grassroots clubs play in strengthening local communities.

A Fantastic Matchday Atmosphere

After lunch, attention turned to the match as Worthing Raiders played Jersey. It was an excellent game, with both sides showing commitment, teamwork and determination throughout. While Jersey edged a closely fought contest, what stood out was the quality of play and the way both teams represented their clubs.

A Full Community Day From Start to Finish

It was also especially encouraging to see how many people stayed for the entire day. The crowd included parents, siblings, grandparents, friends and supporters from across the club and wider area. It truly felt like a community event, not simply a fixture.
