Coaching for workplace behaviours

Coaching for workplace behaviours

Behavioural Change Coaching is an evidence based intervention that focuses on what happens next, not what happened before. The aim is sustainable behaviour change in a relatively short time. It offers a non therapeutic, non clinical approach for everyday challenges, so it differs from the occupational health medical model. Coaching stays goal focused and time limited, with clear actions and measurable progress.

What happens during Goal focused coaching

Coaching helps people challenge learnt beliefs and habits that keep them stuck. It supports better problem solving by helping individuals apply their skills in real work situations. Sessions often explore common thinking traps such as procrastination, indecision, and self doubt, then turn insight into practical steps that move the person forward.

Results focused coaching draws on methods used in cognitive behavioural therapy, rational emotive therapy, solution focused practice, goal setting theory, and social cognitive theory. It can support anyone in the organisation, from front line roles to senior leaders, and it can address both personal and work related challenges.
