Karen Fletcher

My medical background was initially within high dependency cardiac/cardiovascular care and travel medicine. I have worked across many different countries such as Sweden, England and Thailand.

I commenced within the field of Occupational Health in the Home Office in 2006. I established a muscular skeletal fast-track programme for affected employees. I undertook my Masters in of Medical Science in Public Health 2011 after finishing my research for my dissertation in South Africa.

My other qualifications include being trained by the Faculty of Occupational Medicine in hand-arm vibration syndrome and general ergonomics.

I enjoy combining my knowledge in Public Health, health prevention in line with “Carol Black’s report” to improve workplace health and wellbeing and I have implemented and run health and wellbeing workshops in response to this. I enjoy being part of a client’s journey by guiding and empowering them to achieve optimal health and wellbeing.
