Susie Bennett

I started in the fitness industry over 20 years ago and moved in to the health and wellbeing industry after recognising that good health is complex, and could not be achieved by fitness alone.

I am a qualified fitness instructor and personal trainer; I have a qualification in health related behaviour change. I have studied as a nutritional therapist and am qualified to teach mindfulness and meditation. I am also an adult education teacher and independent trainer in health and wellbeing.

I believe that to achieve optimum health a holistic approach is required and recognise that not one size fits all. I support people to improve their general health and wellbeing through improving their diet, becoming more active, being aware of good mental health.

It’s about understanding the individual and their motivation to improve their health so behavioural change can occur; it’s not simply a case of advising people to ‘eat and apple a day’ but setting realistic and achievable goals based on individual need..
